Note: The suffixes F and G often denote minor design revisions (e.g., seal or gasket changes) but are fully interchangeable with the base 6140 part.
This water pump is specifically designed for the following engine and machine models. It is not suitable for the DE12 series used in truck applications.

First, check the part number on your existing water pump. It should be either 65.06500-6140, 6140F, or 6140G. If you cannot see the number, please check your engine serial number. This part is specifically for the DE12T and DE12Ti engines. It will not fit the older DE12 or the newer DL08 engine.
The suffixes indicate minor engineering updates from the original Doosan Daewoo manufacturer. Typically, these changes involve the type of mechanical seal or the gasket design to improve sealing longevity. All three versions are fully interchangeable and will bolt onto the engine in the same manner. We recommend using the latest revision (6140G) for the best performance, but any of the three will function correctly.
Always replace the water pump gasket and the engine coolant simultaneously. We recommend using a 50/50 mix of approved ethylene glycol antifreeze and distilled water. After installation, run the engine to operating temperature with the radiator cap off to bleed air from the system. Check for leaks at the pump weep hole after the first hour of operation. A small amount of grease seepage is normal initially, but a steady drip indicates a seal failure.
